How can I change my password?

To change your password, please take the following steps:

1. Log into your account with your current email address and password.​​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

If you are unable to login to your account scroll down for further instructions.


2. Click on your name in the upper-right corner of the screen.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

3. Select ‘Account settings’ from the drop-down menu.

4. Click on ‘Change password’.
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

5. Enter your current password, the new password and confirm it. Scroll down and click ‘Save’.

If you cannot log in because your password has expired or because you can't remember it, please refer to the following instructions: ​​I forgot my password. What do I do?


​​​​​​​You can click here to regain access to your MyHeritage account.

If we have a phone number linked with your MyHeritage account, we will use that phone number to send you an SMS to help verify your identity. If there is no phone number linked, you have an option to answer verification questions.
