Use this article to learn what the MyHeritage DNA 360° kit includes, how it differs from a standard MyHeritage DNA kit, and who can order it.
MyHeritage DNA 360° is a DNA test that gives you family history and health insights in one kit. It uses 30x Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), which means the lab reads your entire genome about 30 times per position on average. The standard MyHeritage DNA kit also uses Whole Genome Sequencing, but at 2x coverage, so each position is read about twice.
Reading your genome in this much depth gives you health and wellness reports, plus your Ethnicity Estimate, Genetic Groups, and DNA Matches.
What's included in MyHeritage DNA 360°?
Your MyHeritage DNA 360° kit includes 350 reports in total. They cover carrier screening, genetic risk, and Longevity and Wellness assessments. Your MyHeritage DNA 360° results cover these areas:
Cancer risk: Your genetic risk for cancer.
Cardiovascular and respiratory health: Your genetic risk for cardiovascular disease, heart and cardiovascular function markers, and respiratory diseases.
Brain and neurological health: Your genetic risk for neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, and insights into brain health and cognitive performance.
Metabolism and hormonal health: Insights into blood sugar control, weight tendencies, thyroid, reproductive, and metabolic hormones, liver and gallbladder health, kidney disease, and osteoporosis.
Nutrition, vitamins, and minerals: Fats breakdown, essential vitamins and minerals, food sensitivities and intolerances, and a diet and nutrition plan based on your DNA.
Family planning: 26 carrier screening reports for hereditary conditions that you could pass on to your children, such as cystic fibrosis, Tay-Sachs, and sickle cell disease, and your predisposition to fertility hormones.
Longevity and healthy aging: Longevity markers, cellular and tissue aging (including skin and eye vitality), healthy aging markers, and eye diseases.
Sleep, stress, and energy: Sleep quality and patterns, sleep markers and disruptions, stress resilience, mood and mental health, and energy levels and fatigue.
Fitness and sports: Fitness and exercise response, muscle health and physical recovery, muscle mass, pain, cramps, and soreness, injury risk, fitness markers and genes, and a fitness plan based on your DNA.
Skin health: Skin conditions and sensitivities, skin hydration and elasticity, and collagen and pigmentation.
Ethnicity and origins: Your percentage-based Ethnicity Estimate, your origins across 2,114 Genetic Groups, and DNA Matches with relatives you may not know about.
MyHeritage DNA 360° also includes:
Physician oversight in the United States: For US residents, an independent physician network, PWNHealth, reviews your health reports. If they recommend genetic counseling, a session with a certified genetic counselor is included in the price.
An easy test at home: The MyHeritage DNA 360° kit uses a simple cheek swab. No blood or spit is needed, and it takes about 2 minutes.
Control over your data: MyHeritage never licenses or sells your DNA data without your explicit consent. See: Will my health information be shared with anyone else?
💡 Good to know
MyHeritage DNA 360° is for informational purposes only. It is not a diagnostic test and doesn't replace professional medical advice. Your health reports show your genetic risk only, and your overall risk is also affected by other factors, such as lifestyle and environment. We recommend speaking with a healthcare provider about any questions.
How is MyHeritage DNA 360° different from the MyHeritage Health upgrade?
The MyHeritage Health upgrade uses a genotyping chip, a test that checks a fixed list of common genetic markers. Because of this, the Health upgrade can miss rare genetic variants.
MyHeritage DNA 360° uses 30x Whole Genome Sequencing, which reads your entire genome about 30 times. This gives you a more complete picture of your genetic health than the Health upgrade.
Who can order MyHeritage DNA 360°?
MyHeritage DNA 360° is available to people aged 18 and older in the United States and the United Kingdom. It can't be sold in the US states of New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington.
For all eligibility rules, see: Who is eligible to take a MyHeritage DNA test?

I already have a standard MyHeritage DNA kit. Do I need a new test?
Yes, you need a new MyHeritage DNA 360° kit and a new sample to get MyHeritage DNA 360° results. Standard MyHeritage DNA kits that were already processed, with a genotyping chip or with 2x sequencing, won't be processed again with 30x Whole Genome Sequencing.
Your existing MyHeritage DNA results stay valid and keep working with all MyHeritage DNA features.
Should my family members also take the MyHeritage DNA 360° test?
Testing family members with MyHeritage DNA 360° can help them understand their own genetic risk, and it can give you a more complete picture of your family's health. We recommend talking with your relatives about results that may affect them.
This is especially helpful for carrier screening. Many hereditary conditions are only passed on to a child when both parents carry a variant for the same condition. If you're planning a family, testing both partners gives you a much more complete answer.
Each person who wants results needs their own MyHeritage DNA 360° kit and their own MyHeritage account, because each account can have only one activated MyHeritage DNA 360° kit. You can order several MyHeritage DNA 360° kits in one order.
How do I get started?
Getting your MyHeritage DNA 360° results takes three steps:
Activate your MyHeritage DNA 360° kit online. Activation includes consent screens, a short personal questionnaire, and a family health questionnaire. See: How do I activate my MyHeritage DNA 360° kit?
Send your sample back to the lab. For your MyHeritage DNA 360° kit the return envelope is prepaid. For more detailed instructions, see: How do I ship back my MyHeritage DNA 360° sample and to which address?
Wait for your results. You'll receive your MyHeritage DNA 360° results 6–8 weeks after the lab receives your sample, and we'll email you when they're ready. To check the status, see: How can I track my DNA once it is in the lab?
