Both the MyHeritage DNA test and the MyHeritage DNA Health upgrade are available to consumers who are 18 years of age and older. You may purchase a MyHeritage DNA test for a child below the age of 18 if you are their parent or legal guardian, but not a MyHeritage DNA Health upgrade.
The MyHeritage DNA test is available in all countries except for residents of the following locations: France, Israel, Iran, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, North Korea, Lebanon, Russia, and Syria ("Restricted Locations for DNA Genealogy").
The MyHeritage DNA Health upgrade is available in most countries around the world. Currently, it is not available to residents of the following locations: Israel, France (and its overseas territories), Germany, Austria, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, the states of Rhode Island, New Jersey, Washington, Nevada, and New York, as well as Iran, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, North Korea, Lebanon, Russia, Turkey and Syria ("Restricted Locations for DNA Health").
Who are NOT eligible for a MyHeritage Health upgrade?
Bone marrow and stem cell transplant recipients can NOT make use of our DNA test or our Health test, because the donor's DNA is mixed with the test-taker's DNA, making it impossible to determine accurate genetic risks. Additionally, blood transfusion or chemotherapy recipients should not submit a sample for at least 6 months after the transfusion or the last chemotherapy date.
