If you have already taken the MyHeritage DNA test for genealogy insights before June 2025, the MyHeritage DNA lab already has your DNA sample and you can upgrade your kit to receive health reports without testing your DNA again*.
After completing your purchase, you’ll need to fill out a questionnaire about your personal and family health history. Once you complete the questionnaire, we will re-analyze your DNA sample and begin generating your health reports based on your existing DNA sample. You’ll be notified by email as soon as your health reports are ready.
*Note: We recommend upgrading before your sample reaches our lab. When you upgrade early, your health reports will be ready alongside your Ethnicity Estimate and DNA Matches.
If you upgrade after your sample has been processed, you may need to take a new DNA test to receive health reports, which would delay your results.
