If you would like to disable the Smart Matches you get in your Family Tree Builder (FTB), please follow the steps below:
1. On the top menu bar of Family Tree Builder, click on the 'Tools'
2. Click on 'Options'
3. In the window that opens, select 'Smart Matching' on the left side menu.
4. On the right, you will have options to change the 'Auto Match' parameter. Select 'No' to turn off Smart Matching for all your projects in Family Tree Builder.
5. Click 'OK' to save the changes and close the window.
Note: Disabling Smart Matches for Family Tree Builder doesn't disable the Smart Matches you get from your online family site. To disable the feature from the family site, please read: Can I disable Smart Matches?
