incomplete upload (only 3 of 460 persons visible online?) FIXED! THANK YOU

Hi,

I have filled in the webform for technical help several times and have yet to hear from them. The program (I recently became a paying member!) seems to work fine on my PC (can open it,  work on it and save it). However, after I publish to the web nothing gets uploaded. I now only see 3 people as opposed to the 460 I have punched in with much blood, sweat and tears!

Hi Steve,

Thanks for reporting this.

The Web team is looking into the reason why your tree wouldn't publish completely.

In the meantime, try the following work around: Rename the family tree project in Family Tree Builder (File > Save As). Then republish. 

This should take care of the problem.

Dear Jaiel,

I have just followed your advice and re-saved the file as 'workaround" and published it to the web. The problem remains the same. I suspect the record of a person I recently added is corrupted and may be the cause here (but I am not technical and do not know for sure). That is person #483 - Susanne Dorthea Wedel FRICH. Now the program freezes on my PC freezes everytime I try to open/edit this person. So I now have 2 problems:    1. Now every time I want to click on #483's name in the left hand name column the program freezes which means I cannot delete her.    2. Since then only 3 of the /- 475 members of my family tree remain visible online. Before I could always see the whole tree online, that is no longer possible.

Oops,

 thank you so much for your reply. Noam has helped me with the problem (I already sent him my files and he returned them to me). The problem entry was removed and the tree works on my POC and online. Thanks.
