I am looking for any information on my great great grandmothers father and mother who were called henry and amelia tucker, formerley of 5 serjeant street, bedminster, bristol, somerset,  uk in the late 1700 or 1800 itself, dont know what amelias single name was before they married, or whether they both came from bristol uk, they had 4 children which one of them was my great great grandmother jane tucker, (jane maggs) who later married Thomas Maggs, at St Johns Church, (which was blitzed in WW2 and since demolished)  which was off west street, bedminster bristol uk.

I would like to find out any more information on Henry Tucker who was a general labourer,  and Amelia Jane Tucker who was a Washerwoman.  and what their parents names where, got this instinct that they might have come from the bedminster area thereselves, but not too sure?

I too am looking for a Tucker.  I am looking for Emily Tucker~her grandchild remembers an Amelia?? Not sure how that fits in??  Anyway, if you come across Emily Ann Tucker who married Henry Pemberton b. 1871 @ Derby, England (his parents were from Bridport)...would you please pass it on??  My Emily later went by her middle name of Ann when she immigrated to Canada.

Thanks

Julie Pemberton
