I am hoping to find a living male descendant of Brian Hall (1727-1778) who still has the surname Hall. Brian was born in Raynham/Taunton MA to John 3rd Hall and Mary (possibly Britton). He died and is buried in Norton, MA - married Abiah Crossman - he had a son Silas Hall  who m. Nancy Stanley - I believe this is the only line with male Hall descendants.  Most seemed to stay in the Bristol County, MA/Providence RI area.

Silas had 6 male children - Chandler, Silas, Benjamin Stanley, Dexter, Soranus & Richard Hutchins Hall.

Chandler m. Susan Wyatt Gillet and had males Chandler Monroe Hall & William Henry Hall

Silas m. Julia Ann Smith and had males Charles Henry Hall, Silas Smith Hall, Stephen Smith Hall & George Edwin Hall

Benjamin Stanley m. Caroline J. Hodges  - no male children identified

Dexter m. Abby B -  no male children identified

Soranus m. Sara Ann Williams - no male children (seems to have had 3 girls)

Richard Hutchins m. Mary Ann Bates and had males Richard Henry Hall, Horatio Hutchens Hall, Silas Hall & George Edwin Hall
