I am looking for my family connection to former and late Governor of SC, John C. West. He was my grandfather's 2nd cousin (Henry Thomas West), but I cannot find the link. Granddaddy had relatives who were Wests and married Wests, so I am not sure which branch is the connection. Any help would be appreciated.
