Kingdom Of Galicia–Volhynia - a principality on the territory of the Galician and Volhynian lands.
Period: late 12th to 14th centuries. The first capital was Halych, later Lviv.
The state was founded by Roman Mstislavich. The period of greatest prosperity coincided with the reign of Prince Daniel Romanovich. At that time, the principality included the territories of the Kyiv and Turov-Pinsk principalities, as well as the lands of Brest and Lublin.
