About Margaret Cheney
Involved in genealogy for over 25 years, Margaret has been very involved with her local genealogy chapters as well as the Ohio Genealogical Society. For OGS she served on numerous committees and served as President for 6 years. She chaired First Families of Ohio for over 12 years and helped create Century Families of Ohio and the Society of Daughters and Sons of Ohio. Her Ohio roots go back to 1795 when her 4 th great-grandparents arrived in Jefferson County, Ohio.
