About Ken Seifert

Ken Seifert has had an interest in genealogy and family history since he was very young, being. “introduced” to some of his ancestors while walking through the local church cemetery with his maternal grandmother. As they stopped at the various graves, she would explain who the person was, what village they came from, who they married, kids names and usually some interesting story. Today, he can think of hundreds of questions that he wishes he would have asked. Ken is active in his local genealogy group and is currently president of the Northwest Suburban Genealogy Society (NWSGS). He also leads the group’s MyHeritage SIG (Special Interest Group), has presented a “Making A Family History Photobook” workshop, and coordinated a group “Member’s Heirloom Cookbook&Family Traditions Collection” digital book.
