About Andrew Rush

Andrew is an avid genealogy researcher, whose passion for family history began during his childhood in Australia, while querying his father about his American roots.

He has obtained a masters degree in sociology, and published an article in the Journal of Global Urban Studies (Rikkyo University, Tokyo). In addition, he has contributed to multiple research articles as a research assistant, covering topics including outcomes for Indian migrants in Australia, and employment opportunities for women in the mining engineering profession.

Andrew has been actively researching his family history for over a decade and now combines genetic genealogy with traditional research to uncover more of his family history, which last year led to the discovery of his great-grandmother’s family.
