Welcome to Malayala Brahmins Web Site
My name is Rajneesh Kesavan and I started this site. This site represents a closely knit group of Elayath's, Nampiathiris and the like from center and south Kerala. There are many complex relations already and more are getting added due to marriages among members. During family gatherings, it is commonly seen that people, after shaking hands, try hard to explain the various ways in which they are related to each other. Often this results in public humiliation for some (especially youngsters who know just the immediate circle of their relatives and are seen to fumble at the question from a familiar face in the gathering - "Do you know who I am?") and disappointment for others (especially seniors who are often seen asking the aforementioned question to youngsters). This site attempts to solve both issues by capturing the labyrinth of relations comprehensively and providing an easy to use interface for X to Y relations look-up. Enjoy and send in your valuable feedback For information on Malayala Brahmins:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malayali_Brahmins
