Groen Web Site

My name is George Junior Groen and I started this site.This site was created using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and me to create a private site for their family, build their family tree and share family photos.  Linda Aalderks, a second cousin has a very well maintained site.  I am writing a Groen Ancestry Book for our Groen Cousin Reunion that was scheduled on July 17-19, 2015 at Dordt College.  The intent was to give each person this book for future heritage reference. Each of my Siblings' families were asked to use a template that I created to give information about each of their families.  We had a Cousin Committee whose responsibility it was to communicate much information about the Reunion that included forming of Sub-Commiittees that would serve as teams to be involved with planning, registration, lodging, events, food, etc.   The site was last updated on August 26, 2014 and it currently has approximately 130 persons included in the website.
