My name is JIM BLASS and I started this site.This site was created using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and me to create a private site for their family, build their family tree and share family photos. When you see a note titled "Stammnummer 188 Eschenau" it means that persons birth is recorded in the records at Eschenau in the year of the persons birth and 188 stands for the record number in that birth year. Mnay other words will be found and most are professions or cause of death. Of course they are in German.
