There are a few mythological stories behind it, ...kapol.org/root.aspx - Cached - Similar -  Busa Surname is very limited to only few families of KAPOL , how ever I had found one KANSARA family with BUSA surname.But now on searching web , I found that this surname is all over world from India, Asia,Europe,America etc.However, they are never related to our family, religion or geographically , but we all share common surname.In oregon state, USA, there is one wine producing company named ''Busa Wine & Spirits" !! Even, in Portland, Oregon state of USA, where I am now living, there is Hemal Haresh Busa, already living formore than 2/3 years.So now,our Busa families go Universal! I know at least one Busa, in UK, son of Mukundbhai Busa, જયશ્રીકૃષ્ણThese details (I do not claim, this is the only fact, but I feel it is near to it, till we get better understanding about it), most of them were I gathered in my childhood time, from Two ladies, namely, Kashimaa, mother of Late shri Jayantilal Purshottamdas Busa and Shantama/Motibaa, as we called her, mother of Lalitrai/Ratilal Gokuldas Busa.Our original surname was Mehta,and we had migrated from KASAAN, small village near BHAADROD, near Mahuva.In Kasaan village, our ancesters were living and were very sensitive to cold, so even at slightest lowering of temperature, they used to wrap themselves in blankets,(Dhunsaa,ધુસા , અને તેમાં થી બુસા, જોકે ધુસા ગામઠી ભાષા માં ધુહાં બોલાય છે એટલે ધુહાં, બુહા અને બુસા થયું ).આપણું ગોત્ર ઉપમન્યુ છે અને કુળદેવી રુવાપરીમાતા ,ભાવનગર માં છે. તે ઉપરાંત મહુવાના ભાવાનીમાતા અને રુવાપરીમાતા બહેનો છે તેથી લગ્ન પછી છેડાછેડી ભાવાનીમાતા ના મંદિર માં છોડાય , પણ પછી સમય મળે  ત્યારે રુવાપરીમાતા ના મંદિરમાં જઈ ફરીને છેડાછેડી છોડવી જરૂરી છે .લગ્ન કરતા પહેલા એક વાર ભાવનગર રુવાપરીમાતાના મંદિરમાં જઈ કર કરવાના હોય છે અને દીકરાના લગ્ન પછી છેડાછેડી છોડવાની.ગોત્રીજના કરતી વખતે,તેમજ લગ્ન પ્રસંગે  ઘરે માતા તેડી નીવેદ કરવાના હોય છે .તે ઉપરાંત વરસ માં બે વાર (દસેરા અને કાળીચૌદસ )  નીવેદ જારવાના  હોય છે.રસિક બુસા નાં જયશ્રીકૃષ્ણ. Also I reproduce what I found on internet about BUSA Busa Name Meaning and HistoryItalian: probably an occupational name for a collector or seller of stalks of ampelodesmo, a graminaceous plant.Czech and Slovak (Buša): probably from a reduced form of the personal name Bohuslav.Hungarian: nickname from busa ‘stocky’, ‘big-headed’.
