What can I do if the access to my account has been temporarily disabled?

If the access to your account has been temporarily disabled, we recommend waiting 24 hours before attempting to access your account again.

If you still don't have access to your account, please try the following:

  • Turn off any VPN or proxy services you may have enabled.

  • Do not use any URL links from an external website or email to access our website. Instead, open a new browser in incognito mode using the Google Chrome browser, and type www.myheritage.com/login in the address bar.

  • If that works, please return to normal mode, disable any extensions or add-ons in your browser, clear your browser’s cache and cookies, and try again - detailed instructions can be found here.
