This collection contains occupation registration records from the Bailiwick of Jersey, a self-governing island that is regarded as a Crown Dependency of the United Kingdom, between the years 1940 and 1945. Records typically include the name of the individual, the date and place of birth, the place of residence, and the occupation.<br><br>The Occupation Registration Cards from Jersey offer a unique historical perspective on life during the German Occupation in the 1940s. Under German control, residents were compelled to register, resulting in cards that included personal information.
