Please note that we no longer support MyHeritage Family Tree Builder on Mac, and it's no longer available for download on Mac devices. We recommend you to instead continue building your family tree on your family site.
In order to install Family Tree Builder on your Microsoft Windows computer, follow this link www.myheritage.com/family-tree-builder and click on the ‘Free Download’ button.
Wait for the download to be completed.
A window will appear asking if you want to save the file. Click ‘Save File’ and choose a location on your computer to save the file.
After downloading and saving the file, go to the location on your computer where you saved the file. You will have a Windows executable file (with the file extension *.exe).
Right click on the downloaded file and click on 'run as administrator' in the menu and confirm with 'yes'. Now you will enter the installation wizard of the Family Tree Builder. "Installing as a admin" can solve many issues that can be caused by a computer's security systems that can affect the synchronization or proper operation of the software.
