About our family
My father is Bruce George Munday born in Mackay, Queensland, his father came out from UK in 1922 and his mother's family (Jones) are pioneers of the tin industry near Cairns. My mother was Pamela Grace Munday born Beudesert Queensland her family (Libke and Venz) are German and Danish immigrants to the Boonah area. My parents married at Canungra then moved to New Ireland PNG. I was born there in 1965. Mum died up there in 1985. Dad left in 1990..
