Family Infographics™ is the visual evolution of our famous AI Biographer™. While the biography provides a deep, text-based narrative, the infographic offers a "Life at a Glance" view, combining:
Vibrant Portraits: Using your uploaded photos, enhanced by our award-winning photo technology.
Curated Milestones: A streamlined timeline of the most significant life events.
Historical Color: AI-generated context that explains the world your ancestor lived in - from the fashions of the era to the historical events of their hometown.

How to Create Your Infographic
Follow the steps below to create your own Infographic. Click on each step to open the collapsible instructions:

You can start creating a Family Infographic page directly by clicking here. Alternatively, you have two other simple options. Click on the titles below to open the collapsible instructions:
Option 1: From the Family Tree (The Profile Panel)

This is the fastest way to create a visual story while you are actively researching your tree.
Locate the Person: Find the relative in your family tree and click on their card.
Open the Profile Panel: In the left-hand panel that appears, look for the "Create Family Infographic" button.
Choose & Generate: Select your favorite style from the gallery and click to generate your high-resolution poster.
Option 2: From the "Family Tree" Main Menu

This is the best way to view all your options or create infographics for multiple people in one session.
Access the Feature: Hover over the "Family Tree" tab in the main navigation bar at the top of your screen.
Select the Feature: Click on "Family Infographics" from the dropdown menu.
Select a Relative: You will see a list of eligible relatives from your tree. Select the person you want to create an infographic for. Then, simply click the "Create" button next to their name to start the process.

After your selection, click "Continue" at the bottom right of the page.

Review the details taken from the family tree. This is a good opportunity to make some improvement and provide more details. The more information you include, the richer and more detailed your Infographic will be.
Note:
All the changed made when reviewing the details will also be saved to your family tree. Photos must be at least 200×200px. Images below this resolution may not render correctly in your infographic.
You can create a Family Infographic with just a photo and a few details, but for best results, we recommend including:
High-quality photos of the individual as well as their parents and spouse(s)
Dates and places of birth, death, and marriage for the individual and all immediate family members
Any information you have on the individual’s occupations, education, immigration, residences, and/or military service
When you include details such as places, occupations, and immigration information, your Infographic will be automatically enriched with visual elements and scenes that illustrate them, such as the city where the person was born, the ship they traveled on when immigrating, the factory where they worked, and so on.
Click "Continue" at the bottom of the page until you can select "Create Infographic".

Before you create your first Infographic, you’ll need to give your consent.
The Infographic will be ready within a few minutes. There’s no need to stay on the page while it’s being created - MyHeritage will send you an email to notify you when it’s ready.
The email includes a small thumbnail preview of the Infographic. Click the thumbnail or the “View and download” button to view the full-size image.
Pro-Tips for "Poster-Ready" Results
To get the most out of our AI generation engine:
Complete the "Core Four": The AI produces the best layouts when it can find information for the individual, their spouse, and both parents.
Tag Your Photos: Ensure the relative's face is clearly tagged in their profile photo. Our AI uses these tags to crop and center portraits perfectly.
Add Vital Details: The more dates and places you have for birth and death, the richer and more accurate the historical context will be.
Share the "Wow" Moment
Genealogy is about more than just dates; it’s about the emotional connection to our past. We built Family Infographics™ to help you create that "wow" moment for your family members.
All your infographics are automatically saved in a private album named "Family Infographics" in your MyHeritage Photos section.
High-Resolution Download: Click on "Download" to save your infographic as a high-quality image file.
Print Specs: Infographics are generated in a 4:3 aspect ratio. They are optimized for large-format printing, such as 24×18” or 40x30cm. They look spectacular as framed posters, canvases, or family heirlooms.
Gift and Share: Use the "Copy Link" feature to share your ancestor's story privately with relatives or publicly on social media.

What is the cost?
As part of our RootsTech launch celebration, everyone can create their first Family Infographic for free. To create additional infographics, a MyHeritage Complete or Omni plan is required.
Why does the face look artistic?
The AI creates an artistic representation based on your photo. For best results, use a clear profile photo. If you want a different look, try switching styles or using the MyHeritage Photo Enhancer on the original photo before regenerating.
