What is the MyHeritage Data subscription?

Learn what the MyHeritage Data subscription includes: full access to the Search Engine, Record Matches, and more than 40 billion records

The MyHeritage Data subscription is an annual subscription for historical record research. It gives you full access to the MyHeritage Search Engine and to Record Matches.

What does the Data subscription include?

A MyHeritage Data subscription includes:

  • Full access to the MyHeritage Search Engine, MyHeritage’s research tool, with more than 40 billion historical records from around the world. It includes exclusive records that, in many cases, are only available on MyHeritage.

  • Record Matches, which automatically match the people in your family tree to records in the Search Engine and notify you of matches. You can confirm or reject Record Matches, view records, and download them.

  • The ability to save historical records directly to the profile pages of people in your family tree, and to extract information from records into your family tree

  • New data all the time: on average, at least one million historical records and one million family tree profiles are added each day

To learn how to use these features, see:

What isn’t included in the Data subscription?

The MyHeritage Data subscription is for historical record research. It does not include family site features, such as a larger family tree or Smart Matches. To get those features, you need a family site subscription (the Premium subscription or the PremiumPlus subscription), or the Complete Plan, which combines a PremiumPlus subscription with a Data subscription.

Where does the Data subscription apply?

A MyHeritage Data subscription applies to your whole account, not to one family site. One Data subscription covers all your research.
