Family history data can be viewed, edited and expanded from any device. This can be done from either your computer using Family Tree Builder software, your online family site at MyHeritage or via our free MyHeritage mobile app for iPad, iPhone and Android.
All the information you add or change via the mobile app will be automatically synced with your family site.
If you are using Family Tree Builder 7.0 or 8.0 and you have synced your tree with the family site, all changes done directly on the site or through the mobile app will be synced with Family Tree Builder.
If you originally published your tree to the site using one of the older versions of the Family Tree Builder software, you won’t be able to edit your family tree directly on the site or in the MyHeritage app.
In this case, we recommend you first download the latest version of the software and synchronize your tree with your family site to make it editable online. Please read the following FAQ for more details: Why can't I edit my online tree?
