I put my tree up on the site as a gedcom so the family can update their own branches. The problem is now they are uploading pictures and tagging them and such. So how do i import the files to family tree builder do my changes (cause all the features are not available on the website version) and then upload to the website without losing all my associations and such to pics and emails. Is there a way to the replace the gedcom with a new one and keep the email associations as well as the tagging that has been done?
Tagging on photos that were uploaded to a family site is not lost when you republish your tree. Since Family Tree Builder trees are not editable online, any information about family that you would like to add to the tree should be done on your computer and then republished to the tree. Your family site members can only tag people in photos, not edit the tree itself.
