Calendar & Activities tabs missing on home page

I have created two sites and when I go to the homepage of the first site I dont have Calendar & Activities tabs next to family tree and photos. When I go to my 2nd site I see them there. Is there a option or setting that I am missing?

Please go into Settings > Content, and make sure that you have photo albums and whatever other tabs you wish to display checked.
