family tree privacy

Before I publish my family tree , I would like to confirm the following :

a) The public or guests can only see people names and accompanying notes in my family tree who are deemed dead but everyone else on the tree will be shown with only surname. Is there a cut off year I can use as default like say 1930 ?

b) Members that I invite will be able to see the complete tree including  first names , last names and any other notes that I have included in the Family Tree Builder software ?

c)  If I make the family Tree totally Private , then nothing will be seen by guests . Only members I invite will be able to see the complete Tree?

d) Is the password the same for every member I invite? Is that the same as my password as originator ?

e) How do I link the  Family tree to my webpage ie what URL should I use?

Thanks

the WorldVitalrecords site say they have received 795 million trees from myheritage - but you haveto pay them to check your tree

I believed I was only putting my family into a downloaded programe to make a book -- but it is all over the world

Correct, deceased individuals full information is shown, only surnames of living individuals are shown. There is no cut off date available.

b) Members that I invite will be able to see the complete tree including  first names , last names and any other notes that I have included in the Family Tree Builder software ?

Correct. As long as you publish the tree to your family site, invited members can visit your site and view the full tree including living and deceased individuals, notes, photos, etc.

c)  If I make the family Tree totally Private , then nothing will be seen by guests . Only members I invite will be able to see the complete Tree?

Correct. You can also choose to display certain sections of the site only, say only show the family tree, but not photos. This can be done in the My Privacy section.

d) Is the password the same for every member I invite? Is that the same as my password as originator ?

Each member is prompted to create his or her own password the first time they log into your site.

e) How do I link the  Family tree to my webpage ie what URL should I use?

In Site Settings in the General section, you can find the URL of your family site. You can also change it here if you want to customize it.

Thanks
