No Option to Export to GEDCOM

According to the help article on this page

http://www.myheritage.com/help/2010/02/can-i-export-a-gedcom-file-of-my-family-tree-on-my-family-site/en/

there should be an option to export a tree to GEDCOM.  However, when I go to "Manage trees" the only options I see are:

  • View
  • Download original GEDCOM

The original GEDCOM is great, but it doesn't contain any of the updates made since it was originally uploaded.  Is there something additional I need to do in order to export the current data to GEDCOM?

Please note that I'm _very_ new to this and was only recently invited to join this tree.  I suppose it's possible that the owner of the tree(s) in question has disabled this feature.  Is that possible?

Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for writing to us, and sorry about the delay.

This option has indeed been disabled by your site's manager. You can request him to send you a copy of the GEDCOM, or change his site settings to enable you to export the GEDCOM yourself.
