I am receiveing messages about smart matching. However, I cannot confirm any of those nor can I contact the persons making smart matches. Why do you have this funtion if it I cannot use it? Seems very UNsmart to me or is it just to get more money?
I can be reached at familj@stjernberg.com or through my sites.
Confirming or rejecting Smart Matches is a Premium feature. Many of our users have found the Smart Matches very helpful in locating more family, and distant relatives.

Thanks for the response. I still se this as a "How can we do something to lure people into paying or paying more"-feature. "Yes, we wave this in front of our customers, but if they want to use it they need to pay". I am blocked from contacting the people in order for me to pay first, am I not? If that is not the case, why is there a block to contacting a member or tree-onwer?
I am aware that I am not a paying customer, but using the free service you decided to provide. I do not want to see new features if they are ONLY directed towards premium customers. Please separate the two. If I can receive a match and do a comparison I have certain benefit. But not being able to contact the person nor request membership to that tree isn´t really a feature. I have been searching for specific people and finding trees only to find that I cannot contact that tree due to earlier smart match.
As it is now, I cannot request membership nor contact anybody that has confirmed a match with my tree. I can only contact person that have NOT made a match. Since I have an anient king in my tree, "many" or trees make matches.
If I turn off my smart matching(tm) feature, can I then contact anybody within myheritage?
