I've created a family tree using the desktop software on a WinXP based notebook. I uploaded it to the website. When it was small it worked fine. As I added additional family members and pictures the desktop software and site started to act up.
The desktop software periodically gives me the Win message that it has to close the app and I might loose some of my data. Fortunately, the software was doing backups so when I relaunched the software I only lost a few entries. Now I do a save after about 5 entries.
The on-line site stopped working on my notebook. Win XP, IE 7.0.5730.11 after I added a few pictures. All I get is a blank white screen with Done in the lower left corner. No text, no pictures, nothing. My site is http://stacey-brennan.myheritage.com. Although when I tried it from an old Win2000, IE 6 machine at work it came up.
I'd like to invite other relatives to contribute, but I don't want them to enter info only to have it disappear or become inaccessible.
