What does it mean, there is a 5,000 merge limit? I have almost 33,000 people in my project and have been a member for three years. How do I know how many merges I have done? My merge button is no longer available and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the current version of the software. Without merge capability my premium membership is worthless!
I upgraded to a Premium account several weeks ago but I am no longer able to merge Smart Matches? My whole purpose of upgrading was for this ability. Is there a limit? If so, then what's the point of upgrading?
I can't figure out how to exit this program without closing the tab and relaunching myheritage. I can click on the back arrow button on my browser! Kind of lame way of exiting a game as well!
So, my family got a premium subscription in order to merge smartmatches, which is an awesome feature. But I'm learning now that a tree you edit in the software doesn't sync back to your online, shared tree. It's a separate tree.
So now I've got one tree that my family has been collaborating on (online), and my smartmatched tree that I editted in the software. And they're separate. The two coolrst features MyHeritage has (collaborative tree-building and merging smartmatches) are mutually exclusive. How incredibly frustrating!
You can't smartmerge on an online, collaborative family tree - and you can't collaborate online on a smartmatch merged family tree. It's maddeningly frustrating.
MyHeritage really needs to stop developing the software and focus on making the website full-featured and awesome. Dividing your efforts between both is resulting in two disappointing products.

There's a limit to how many smart searches you can do, even with a Premium account? Am I understanding this correctly? Makes me wonder why I spent the money to upgrade.
Thanks for acknowledging it is a software issue. If it helps, I have this problem also and here is what I tried (unsuccessfully).
I did a complete uninstall including removal of all FTB files in the Program Files (x86) and Program Data directories. I renamed the MyHeritage directory. Then tried a fresh install of the latest version and started it to create the myHeritage directory. Then I closed FTB and copied my .zed file into C:\...\MyHeritage\Nishimura\database\Nishimura.zed. I then restarted the program and opened the project. I am still not able to merge even from a site that I am a member of.
Let me know if I can help by running some test cases as a Premium user, or if you want someone to test a patch or revision prior to general release.
I must have recently hit my smart matching limit. It would have been nice to know that there even was a limit in the first place. I would have considered this when deciding whether or not to upgrade to a PremiumPlus account. I've also wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what was going on through the forum.
