Watts-Roof-Wilhite-Campbell Family Tree

My name is Pamela Lynne McDermott (Wilhite) and I am the creator of this site. Thanks to the Fisher Family Letter we have roots going back to Rollo Longsword b. 860 d. 942. He was a Viking and the 1st Duke of Normandy, altho they did not use that title yet.As of Nov. 2011, Lynn James Watts traces back to Thomas Harris Chaney, b. 1786 d. 1851 in Ludgershall, Buckinghamshire, England, wife\\\'s name is Mary.  On his mothers side we went to James Finley b. 1583, d. 1620  in Fife, Scotland,  married to Barbara Huntar b. 1582, d. 1618 in Fife, Scotland.Ruth Louise Roof (Watts) has roots going back to Clovis, King of Cologne, circa 420 AD. Also Matthias Waldmeyer, b. 1680 in Möhlin, Aargau, Switzerland , married to Maria Anna Musch, b. 1688 in Frick, Aargau, Switzerland. I do not have their death dates yet.LeRoy Vernon Wilhite traces back to Georg Willheit, b. 1580 in Germany and Jakob Von Siedler b. 1563 d. 1624 in Ottenbach, Zurich, Switzerland, married to Verena Siegrist b. 1593. d. ? Lois Fern Campbell traces back to John Matthews b. 1697 in Ireland, d. 1757 in Virginia. Married to Ann Archer, b. 1701, d. 1748. both in Augusta, VA. The Wilhite name traces back to 1550 Schwaigern Germany with Goerg Willert being the oldest I have found so far. The Wilhite name, as with many others was changed in spelling several times over the years and is very hard to trace.
