I want to point out that the family tree here is a work in progress and that memeber help to make additions and corrections is MUCH appreciated :-).I recently signed up with 23andMe for their DNA kit to see what other info I might gather about my relatives.  23andMe uses DNA collections that come from each of 31 populations worldwide. This analysis includes DNA you received from all of your recent ancestors, on both sides of your family. The results reflect where your ancestors lived before the widespread migrations of the past few hundred years. I encourage anyone interested in their family history to spend the $199.00 and have your DNA processed so you can be added as one of over 1 milion people that have had their DNA processed by 23andMe; enjoy finding your 2nd,3rd,and4th cousins and etc. :-)My ancestry is :29.6% British & Irish34.4% Scandinavian14.7% French & German18.5.% Broadly Northwestern European1.5%  Eastern European0.6 % Southern European0.6 Broadly European  I also submitted my 23andMe RAW data to DNA.LAND which uses different alogorythms to find ancestory origins and relatives. Worth the time to upload your 23andMe results.This report from DNA.LAND showed that my ancestry is : 69%  Scottish Argyll_Bute_GBR and British in England; Icelandic in Iceland; Norwegian in Norway and Orcadian in Orkney Islands.19%  Balkan -  Albanian in Albania; Bulgarian in Bulgaria and Greek in (2 sites) Greece 12%  Finnish  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MyHeritage allowed me to uplaod my 23andMe RAW data as well, in to their DNA database and I found some more relatives.    Promethease.com  Promethease is a tool to build a report based on SNPedia and a file of genotypes.
