SCRASE,ALICE SHEAT

My name is <Gaynor James and I am the Site manager of this site.Alice Sheat Scrase was b. in 1858 in Sydney, returned to Bristol with her family and m. Thomas James a schoolteacher also in 1882. He emigtrated to Kansas and worked on the railways in Wyandotte County in Argentine. Thomas died there c 1915-17  but Alice lived to a great age in CA until 1947. Thomas's big brother William went to NZ as a third generation Welsh patternmaker and later became a marine engineer and was my gr grandfather. The story of Aklice and Thomas was so interesting I have written their story and would be very interested in making contact with any of their descendants.
