Tim Ladusau Family Website

Welcome to Tim Ladusau Family Website

My name is Tim Ladusau and I am the Site manager of this site. This site was created using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and I to create a site for their family and even publish their family tree on the Internet. If you have any comments or feedback about this site, please click here to contact me. This research is for our Ladusau family.  I have been working on this project for over five years trying to find the source of the name.  The history is also there for those who come after us so they and their children can find out something about us.  The name has been spelled Laddusaw, Ladisaw, Lagisaw, Ladusan, Landusar just to name a few.  The earliest documented name was enumerated as Laddusaw.  The earliest documented Laddusaw was a Louis or Lewis Laddusaw who appears in a census of 1830 of Oldham County Kentucky.  In that census there are nine people.  Two parents, five males and two females.  I believe this was the first family.  Lous was probably born before 1790.I have not found proof of the last name spelled differently other than Laddusaw in the early history.  In my tree the name changes to Ladusau.  In Kentucky, the name is commonly Ladusaw.   There is no record of a Pierre Ladouci that I can find. Some family trees state that he was part of the American Revolution.  Most other family trees report his birth date of 1777 which by itself omits any involvement in that conflict.  The family does travel West and the family finds itself in Indiana, Kentucky and Iowa. There is a tree of Ladusaw living in Kentucky.  These are all descendants of Abraham Ladusaw and his wives.  I refer to them as the Kentucky Ladusaws.  The Laddusaw name is derived from descendants of John Laddusaw.  In my tree the name is spelled Ladusau from my Great Great Grandfather Vetile.  As you can see, there is a lot going on in this family. My mother's grandfather William F Clark married Josephine Earp who is definetly a part of the Earp family.  Anyway, enjoy your time at the site abd if you have any information to share, please do so.  Finally I would like to thank all who contribute and will contribute and especially thankful to my cousin Lee Ann and all the great photos she sent and my other cousins who have provided me with fascinating photos that are being shared by other families.  Also, great thanks and appreciation to Patricia Irvin Laws for her contribution and photos.  Also, I would like to thank Mike Hilt for his continuing contributions in finding historical information for this family.   Thanks for your visit.
