My name is Lillian Stephanie (McNeese) Scott and I started this site using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and me to create a private site for their family, build their family tree and share family photos. Our family tree is posted online on this site! There are 745 names in our family site.The Family Trail is the the latest version of our family tree. This journey started for me when I was child. Listening to Grandmother (Lillian Stovall Beech) and the other adults tell stories of their lives growing up, and the stories they remembered of others who had already gained their angel wings, enticed the curiosity within me to find out where we came from, who we were, how did our ancestors live, arrive where they did and why.We descend from Christian people, some Quakers, Presbyterian, Methodist, Church of Christ, and there are several Reverends, Pastors, and Preachers in our lines. We are Scottish, Irish, American Indian, English, Scandinavian, and more. There have been feuds between brothers, riches made and riches lost, struggles, and a soldier in every war since the American Revolution. We are Austin, Beech, Hood, McNeese, Stevenson(Stephenson), Stovall, among others. There are surnames that need more attention...such as Birdsong, Brown, Carden(Cardin), Hardy, Harrison, Hood and more.So, I am soliciting help from my family, friends, or family friends that have stories to tell.
