Their two children, born in Cleveland, Ohio, were:  Alfred Dowd (b 1893) and Mamie Dowd (b. 1890).  Alfred was adopted by the Kinschners and his name changed to Alfred Dowd Kinschner (Kinsner) in 1894, and Mamie was adopted by the Days and her name changed to Beulah May Day in 1895.
