I am looking for my family as well. My maiden name is Boyd. It is caught my eye when you said your dad died in Georgia. Was he born around that area? My family is from parts of Georgia and Tennessee. Most of them live in Grundy Gounty. In Palmer, Tracy, and Altamont Tennessee. They seemed to like Mount Eagle. My Grandfather was David Boyd and He had a sister named Omalee and one named Grace. I dont think he had any brothers. My Great Grandfather's name was Clyde Boyd and My Great Great Grandfather was David A. Thornton Boyd. I hope this helps any at all.
