I have a Rufus Evans, b. 1860, Twiggs County, Georgia, son of Obadiah and Martha Evans. If you can't get to my website from this message, make a reply to this message, and we'll get you connected.
This could of knock me over with a stick, I am so thrill to get an answer. You have no Idea how much you look like my Granny Annie Maud Evans Hawkins. Can you get me connected so I am able to see your web site?
I am thrilled to find some one related to my gg grandfather Rufus. Can't wait to hear from you.
I'm not actually related to those Evans, but Rufus' brothers H Jackson and James Evans served in the WBTS units from Twiggs County, Georgia, that I study. Doesn't mean we aren't connected, I firmly believe that most people from middle Georgia are connected somewhere along the line. Of the 525 men in the four companies from Twiggs, I've found family connections to 151 of them. So far.
