Does anyone have any info about William Allum, who was in the Royal Bengal Artillery, India, probably born around the very late 1700s or early 1800s?
I don't have a exact date or place of birth, I'm really trying to find that. One of William's children was Major Edwin Allum (1828-1912) also of the Royal Bengal Artillery.
