I'm looking for information about an Alexander Campbell who married Mary E Smith in 1858. He possibly comes from Dumbartonshire in scotland (haven't confirmed this as yet). I would like to know who his parents are and any other children that Mary and he had. The child that I have is Alexander Colin Campbell b 1862 in Hamilton, Newcastle, Australia.
I also sent you a message with this info, apologies if you get it twice --

I believe the grandson's name was not Aheshier, but John W Abshier. I am a novice researcher, and came on your website via Google. John W became a maternal great-grandfather of mine. His mother was Florinda J Campbell, and his father was Henry Abshier (also spelled Abshire and Abshear in some records). They were from Warrick County Indiana. Of the above I am pretty certain. The following is theory -- Florinda was very likely dead by 1880, may have died giving birth to John W in 1876, probably in White County Arkansas. By 1880 Henry was remarried to second wife Rebecca A Crow. At some point John W moved from Ark back to Indiana. He is living in Warrick County in the 1880 census (known then as Willy) with wife Eliza J. Any info you may have concerning Florinda J Cambell, when/where she died, and whether or not she was officially ever married to Henry would be appreciated. Greetings,
I just thought I’d share this great finding with you my fellow researchers, I found a little online bookstore who specialized in family history and they offer a FREE PDF SEARCHABLE CD with each book order. I was able to find some books on our Surname and they helped me a lot in my research. I am just glad that someone is reproducing those hard to find books.
You can visit their website at www.ancestralbooks.com
Maybe the same books that I bought from them might help you too.
Good Searching.
John was born in Limerick about 1810. He married Mary Salmon in 1850 in Montreal. I would like to have information on his date of birth and death and of his parents. I don't think his parents left Ireland, but I cannot find any trace of them. John was my GGGgrandfather. John's daughter Bridget married Louis StDenis in Montreal.
