thanks a bunch. you don't know how this makes me feel. sinjce my sister-in-law took all my family pictures right off my mother's livingroom wall, and my mother didn't even tell her to leave them there.pretty sad that your own family will steal from you.
I am searching for my Great Grandmother Lucy V. (Thompson) Mitchell she was married to Earl Mitchell, They divorced - I'm not sure when though- and Married Russell E. Dowdell.
I am not sure if she remarried after that, or died while married to Russell or what Last name she had been using when she died.

I don't have much info on Earl Other than he was born 1895 Died 1955 in the 1900 Census for Green Harrison County Ohio he and 2 sibblings lived with their grandparents the grandparents are, Emanuel Isenhood and Emily(or Emma both names show up) Her maiden name was Patterson the sibblings listed with him are Allen Born June 1893 and Viola Born Aug 1894 all 3 kids were born in Ohio as was their parents
Unable to find Earl or Allen in the 1910 Cenus, But it says Viola was an inmate of the Harrison County Children's home
As far as I know Earl Mitchell Lived in Adena, Ohio when he died most of my family is from Adena, but as I do more research I found they also lived in near by towns/ counties.. some in Harrison County, and some in Belmont County. but the biggest part is Adena, Jefferson County Ohio
