I only have one John H. McAlpine on my tree: born 8 August 1866 in Chippewa Creek, Welland County, Ontario - appears on the 1881 Census - Ontario District 142 page 64 line 11 and 1891 Census - Ontario District 124 page 44 line 17...not a direct ancestor so I have no info on where he went or who he married. This John H. was my great-great grandfathers brother but they were from the Wainfleet/Welland area....don't think it's the same person.
Do you know who his parents were? If you can confirm some more info I may be able to help as I have that line traced back to Scotland.
Hi Tim, The John McAlpine I am looking for had a son named John Henery born about 1875 in Windsor Ontario. He was also born in Ontario, and his father and mother came from Edunborough, Scotland. Don't have a lot of info. on them, hoping to find some. Any idea's on what I can try next? Having trouble finding birth certificates or marriage license.
