My name is Mary Magdalene McEachin Thompson and I started the Buie -McMillan Web Site. It is an outgrowth of the Buie- McMillan Family Reunion that has been held annually since 1967 in or around Red Springs, NC. The reunion began when Cousin LaGray Hines Spencer organized the descendants of the siblings of her grandparents, John Denny McMillan (10 siblings) and Betsy Buie McMillan (9 siblings).  For our purposes, their parents Charlie Buie and Flora McPherson and Denny McMillan and Flora Blue McMillan are considered the 1st generation.This site was created using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and me to create a private site for their family, build their family tree and share family photos. Our family tree is posted online on this site!
