Welcome to our family tree!My name is Tina Newby and I am the Site manager of this Web site.To date, through DNA supplied by Anna Geladin, Steve "Jerry" Stachura, Johnny Green, Bobby Green, Theresa Green (and Lilly Pond Green), and Tina Newby, many DNA family members have been found and this has helped us to gain more insight and verification on our direct lines.If you have had your DNA tested through myheritage, 23andMe, ancestry.com or any other DNA testing site, please let me know and I can either give you theinstruction and how to upload it or send me the zip file that you get when you download your kit. Since we all get different pieces of the same family members, everyone helps!Updates on our family: Bessie Lou Posten family: We have multiple DNA links to confirm Kilgo lineage. When asked about why our family did not appear in a kilgo family book, my grandmother Odell said it was because they did not consider us to be actual genetic members of the kilgo family. We now know that is false. Lawrence Stachura Family: Ed Moskala and Cookie Kelley hold the X DNA that can unlock connections to Lawrence Stachura's family. John G Green family: John's daughter's sons are the best source of his X DNA. I will be continuing to work to identify any of them if they are still alive. They will be Johnny and Bobby Green's generation. As of yet, there is no conclusive evidence of any significant Native American ancestry.Hamilton family: I have not spent a whole lot of time on this family as it is pretty well documented. My attention  is generally focused on areas of question orchallenge. if there are any rumors or family history items that you would like verification for, please let me know.
