Richard Bradley Web Site

Welcome to the Family Web SiteThe main purpose is to use this site to collect all the information we need to create our Family Tree.  The photograph is of Richard and Madaliene Bradley, my great grandfather and great grandmother.  I believe I am right in saying that Richard was born a Barrett and changed his name to Bradley when a boy, (his mother remarried) but that may be incorrect. (it may have been Richard's father and so this is a point we need to clarify and the kind of information that can be put on this site for future reference).I don't think anyone should feel restricted about what information to include - the more the better.  But as a general guide we should put in full names, birthdates and places of birth, information about where each person lived throughout their life, their occupation(s) and any special noteworthy points or achievements.  We can also add photogrpahs but there is a limit to how much we can add to this FREE site.  If we get into the subscription level it becomes quite expensive. The family tree can be exported into a fairly universal form of data file and also to an Excel file.  I'll take responsibility for keeping that back up so that if we ever lose this site for any reason we will keep the information. Thanks for contributing - your great great grandchildren will hopefully appreciate it!Dale
