According to my friend Eddie Cantwell - The origin of Dungarvan Terry’s can be first placed in Garranbane/Garranbaun,Kilgobnet,Ballinacourty, from here they migrated to Ring, Ardmore, Rathgormac and Aglish. A branch of the TERRY family moved to Ardmore where My GGrandfather John was born and he married Bridget Fleming of Ballycullane Hse. Dromore, Co. Waterford,where they brought up my Grandmother Mary, her sister Anna and brothers Walter and Michael.A section of the family moved to Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin, United States where they still reside today.
