Solomon Sallade, of Windsor township, was fined $5 0_ and sen- to the Berks prison for a period of 34 days from the time committed by Judge Wagner. Sallade has already served 34 days and will be discharged on payment of the fine. Sallade plead guilty- to the charge. District Attorney Rothermel appeared against the man. The prosecutor was James Prutzman, burgess of Hamburg. Sallade gave the liquor to a man from Windsor township who is on the black list because of his drinking. Some time ago Sallade tried to secure his release from jail on habeas corpus proceedings but the court refused the petition after hearing the evidence in the case. It was brought out that Sallade bought a pint of whisky and placed it in a barn where the other party secured it. Attorney Harry J. Dumn asked that the sentence be suspended in the case. ..."
