Sutherland, colored, ro years old, has been convicted of murder In the first degree. On March 22 last Sutherland shot and killed his mistress, Sarah Wrenn, la their home at M Gwinnett street after quarreling with her. In alt five shots were fired. On examination Sutherland admitted the shooting, but denied that he Intended to kill the woman. When the verdict was announced by the foreman ot the Jury, the prisoner ahowed no tracts of fear. ..."
