Every member of MyHeritage and every person in the family tree has a profile page, that shows general information about the person, pictures, close family members, contact information etc.
It is possible that you may see different information and/or have different editing capabilities on the profile page depending on the context in which you view the profile.
You can have several types of profiles:
1. Your profile in your own family tree and family site - in order to access it, please log in to your family site, click on your name in the right upper corner and click on ‘My Profile’:
In the profile page, you will see detailed information that was added about you in the family tree, (in case your member profile is associated with the person in the family tree) and have editing capabilities.
In order to edit your personal information in the family tree, visit your tree and click on your name. This opens the left panel of the tree. In the left panel, click the “Profile” icon, marked below in orange.
Click on "Edit profile" on the top right corner:

3. Your profile on a site you are a member of - in order to access it, please log in to a family site you are a member of, click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen and select "My profile".
Please note, editing your profile in this context might not be allowed. In order to edit your profile on a site you are a member of, you need to contact the webmaster of this family site.
